Audiences come to gain new ideas and see things differently. Talk to them before you speak, to find out what’s keeping them awake at night. After talking to delegates, it’s like addressing a group of friends from stage. Involve your audience, ask them for their views. Above all, keep the key messages clear and never ever drown them in detail. The best presentations have the least content: a picture does say a thousand words!
